The Grand Criterium Filly, Group 2 race for two-years-old fillies two years, was won with authority by Vanesia Ek, driver and stable by Pietro Gubellini. Vanesia Ek is the daughter of Expoit Caf and Nike Ek.

As usual, the trotting racecourse La Maura suspends racing for the summer: fall season starts from September 2nd, 2016.
