MILAN – Today, 15 November, Società Trenno Srl awarded the Premi San Siro 2014, prizes to the best breeders, owners, trainers, jockeys, gentlemen riders, amazons and horses of the gallop season in Milan, which ends today at the San Siro racetrack.
Special awards were granted to the amazon Jessica Marcialis, for the amazing results achieved in Italy and abroad in the 2013 and 2014 seasons, and to the jockey Federico Bossa, the winner of the 125th Gran Premio di Milano on the horse Benvenue.
“This is a splendid occasion to say goodbye before the winter break – said Giorgio Sandi, chairman of Società Trenno – it has been a marvelous season, with true champions as protagonists, and with spectators who have once again rediscovered their love for horse racing. Data on attendance is on the rise, and we saw once again at San Siro people who had backed away from our horse racing scene. Our job is a tough one, like hurdle racing, but we continue to believe in our future and are already preparing a 2015 season that will be even better than the one that just ended today ”.
