The Palazzina del Peso is the most exclusive location of the areas of the San Siro SNAI Racetrack: its name derives from the activities which were historically conducted within it, such as the weighing of jockeys and saddles, before every race, and the hospitality areas such as the grandstand and the cafes reserved to the owners of thoroughbreds, the roof terrace, the Hall of Fame, the jockeys room, the press room, the areas reserved to the commissioners and the racetrack’s administrative office.
Access to the Palazzina del Peso is reserved to the owners, trainers, accredited journalists and photographers and invited guests.
To receive an invitation that grants access to the Palazzina del Peso, or to hold a gold card that grants permanent access to the most exclusie areas of the monumental complex of the gallop racetrack of Milan means being admitted to the most prestigious part of the entire racetrack, which has hosted those famous individuals who have entered the glorious history of horse racing, art and literature.
To renew tradition on a continuous basis, on the occasion of the most important races, a gate is opened which allows access to the Palazzina del Peso through the most prestigious entrance: the Royal Staircase (Scala Reale), which leads directly to the Owners’ Grandstand.
